
Tigran Arzakantsyan's wife to run for Yerevan mayor
Natalia Arzakantsyan, the spouse of Armenian businessman and politician Tigran Arzakantsyan, is joining the Yerevan mayoral race.
She will top the electoral list of the Uzh Hayrenyats Party (Strength of the Fatherland) co-founded by her in the upcoming elections to the Yerevan City Council, the party said in a statement on Friday.
The party expressed deep concern over the split and tolerance in Armenian society.
The next municipal elections in Yerevan have been slated for September 17.
