Armenian soldier wounded by Azeri fire out of danger
The Armenian soldier wounded in Azerbaijani shooting on Monday is out of danger, Defense Ministry spokesman Aram Torosyan told Panorama.am on Tuesday.
The serviceman suffered an injury after the Armenian combat positions near Verin Shorzha came under Azerbaijani fire on Monday evening.
Torosyan said the soldier had successfully undergone surgery in Yerevan’s Garrison Hospital and had been transferred to the Central Military Hospital.
"His condition is assessed as serious and he is under observation," the spokesman added.
