UN Security Council to hold emergency meeting on Artsakh on Wednesday
The United Nations Security Council has scheduled an emergency meeting on Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) for Wednesday, August 16, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
“On August 16, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will be in New York to participate in the emergency meeting of the UN Security Council convened at the request of Armenia regarding the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of the total blockade by Azerbaijan,” the ministry said in a statement.
