EU mission sees no military buildup on Armenian-Azerbaijani border
The European Union Mission in Armenia (EUMA) has observed no “unusual military movement or buildup” along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, it said in a social media post on Monday.
The statement came after Baku falsely accused Yerevan of stockpiling military equipment and troops along the border.
The EUMA said on X (formerly known as Twitter) that it daily monitors the military and security situation from four operating bases patrolling alongside the Armenian-Azerbaijani border area.
“Based on information on the ground, we see no unusual military movement or buildup, especially at the entrance to Lachin corridor. We keep patrolling the areas,” the mission said.
