Reservist deserts combat post; search underway
An Armenian army reservist enrolled in military trainings has deserted his combat position, the Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday, adding search efforts are underway to find him.
“On August 16, reservist G.V., according to preliminary information, left the combat position at will,” the ministry said in a statement.
“Search operations are underway to find the participant of the training assembly,” it added.
