Police react to incident reportedly involving Turkish man in Armenian town
An emergency incident occurred in Ijevan, a town in Armenia's Tavush Province, on Thursday. The Hraparak daily reported that passengers noticed a suspicious man speaking Turkish on the phone in a minibus serving the Ijevan-Achajur route.
According to the report, the passengers noticed that the man was receiving calls from Turkish numbers. The passengers demanded that the driver stop the vehicle and reported the incident to the police.
“A police report has been filed and the relevant authorities are probing it. No other details are available,” the police told Panorama.am in response to its request for comment.
