One killed, four wounded in car crash in Armenia
One person was killed and four others were injured in a car crash near Yelpin, a village in Armenia’s Vayots Dzor Province on Sunday evening.
The Rescue Service said in a statement that a BMW X5 and a Nissan Tiida collided on the Yerevan-Meghri highway.
A BMW passenger had been hospitalized before the arrival of rescuers.
The Nissan Tiida driver and its three passengers were later taken to hospital where one of them died.
The driver’s condition was assessed as severe.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
