Baku confirms it received new peace proposals from Yerevan
No date has been set for a new meeting between Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijani media reports, citing Aykhan Hajizada, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesperson.
He said that peace talks between Baku and Yerevan continues, adding Bayramov touched upon the issue at a joint news conference with his Belgian counterpart Hadja Lahbib.
“There is currently no information about new meetings,” Hajizada added.
The spokesperson confirmed that Armenia has submitted new proposals to Azerbaijan regarding the peace treaty which was reported by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Thursday.
The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan last met in Moscow on July 25.
