Ex-Ambassador Mikayel Minasyan calls for unconditional consolidation to save Stepanakert
Mikayel Minasyan, ex-Ambassador of Armenia to the Holy See, today posted an article on Armenian Cause.
He argues that the issue of free and secure perseverance of Armenians has always been pivotal throughout the last 15 decades of Armenian history targeting Nagorno-Karabakh and Stepanakert as current addresses.
Ex-Ambassador Mikayel Minasyan claims that diplomatic solution around Karabakh still remains achievable and calls for large consolidation of Armenians. “The current situation has a single way out: Armenians should come together to preserve their national identity, save Stepanakert and force the internally opposing groups to keep silence. The notion of unconditional consolidation should prevail,” claims the former ambassador.
Mikayel Minasyan recalls the soviet, pre-soviet and post-soviet statehood experiences of Armenians claiming that the Armenian Cause has been central to the identity of all these statehoods.
