Survey reveals who Armenians turn to first in case of health issues
Doctors often complain that patients seek medical help when it is almost impossible to prevent the development of the disease and avoid negative consequences.
People with health issues would rather turn to pharmacists, their neighbors and relatives instead of seeing a doctor.
Panorama.am has conducted a brief survey among Yerevan residents to find out who they turn to when facing health issues.
"If doctors are familiar to us, we go to them," a pensioner says.
Her caretaker adds that in case of health problems, they visit the local clinic.
"I am a beneficiary and, naturally, I look to them for help," an elderly man notes, referring to the social package provided.
