Azeri forces kidnap Artsakh student
Azerbaijani forces have kidnapped an Artsakh student at the Lachin Corridor, the sole road connecting Artsakh to Armenia blocked by Baku, Artsakh’s InfoCenter reports.
Alen Sargsyan (born in 200) was travelling to Armenia from Artsakh accompanied by Russian peacekeepers to continue his studies on Monday.
No reliable information about the reasons for his abduction is currently available.
"Azerbaijan continues its genocidal policy towards the Artsakh people, once again violating the international humanitarian law," the InfoCenter said, promising to provide further details later.
Tigran Petrosyan, the chairman of Artsakh's Anti-Crisis Council, said another Artsakh resident was being questioned by Azeri guards.
