Pashinyan holds phone call with France's Macron
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday held a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.
The two leaders discussed the current situation in the region, the Armenian premier's office reported.
"Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the day-by-day deepening of the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of the illegal blocking of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan, as well as stressed the need to take steps to overcome and solve it," it said in a readout.
"The interlocutors emphasized the importance of consistent efforts to ensure stability and peace in the region," the office added.
