Fallen Artsakh soldier's sister protests delivery of flour from Baku
The sister of an Artsakh soldier killed in the 2020 war protests the supplies of flour from Azerbaijan.
In a viral video posted on Tuesday, the woman said she had arrived at the road running through Askeran to prevent the delivery of flour to Artsakh.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society said it had dispatched a “humanitarian aid convoy” consisting of 40 tons of flour to Artsakh residents.
The fallen soldier’s sister called on all Artsakh Armenians to join her.
“As a sister of a fallen serviceman and an Askeran resident, I came here to prevent the flour sent by the Azeris from being delivered to Artsakh,” says the woman. “Nobody can stop me. I would rather stay hungry than use the flour supplied by the Azeris.”
