Paris mayor visits Kornidzor border area
A convoy of ten trucks carrying emergency aid from France to blockaded Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) has arrived at the entrance to the Lachin Corridor near the border village of Kornidzor in Armenia’s Syunik Province.
A French delegation led by Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo escorted the aid convoy. Hidalgo arrived in Armenia on Wednesday morning to lead France’s relief effort for the Artsakh people who have been living under Azerbaijan’s illegal blockade for over eight months now.
The French delegation was accompanied by Governor of Syunik Province Robert Ghukasyan and Artsakh Foreign Minister Sergey Ghazaryan.
