Political activist calls out Armenian, Artsakh leaders for 'another treacherous step'
Edgar Ghazaryan, a maverick political activist, has blasted the leaders of Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), Nikol Pashinyan and Arayik Harutyunyan, for "another treacherous step”.
His comments came after Arayik Harutyunyan announced plans to step down as Artsakh president on Thursday. He said he would tender his resignation on September 1, one day before Artsakh Independence Day.
"The two biggest enemies of the Armenian nation, Nikol Aliyev and Arayik Pashinyan, have taken aother treacherous step and fulfilled Ilham Aliyev's new demand to decapitate the entire Artsakh state administration system and to break down all institutions,” Ghazaryan wrote on Facebook on Thursday.
“The homeland captors have done it in a symbolic way – on the eve of Artsakh's Independence Day,” he added.
