Ruben Vardanyan urges Armenian leaders to change Artsakh policy
Artsakh’s former State Minister Ruben Vardanyan calls on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s administration to change its policy on Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
Speaking at a joint news conference with the Country of Living party leader, Mane Tandilyan, via a video link on Wednesday, Vardanyan warned the Armenian leadership against signing a peace deal with Baku that would make Artsakh part of Azerbaijan.
“There will be no Armenia without Artsakh and there will be no Artsakh without Armenia,” he warned.
Vardanyan called for national consolidation to prevent Artsakh's subordination to Azerbaijan and its depopulation.
"The Armenian government must change its position on Artsakh, because the defeatist attitude and rhetoric are leading us into the abyss,” he stated.
