10 patients transferred from blockaded Artsakh to Armenia
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has facilitated the transfer of 10 severely ill patients from blockaded Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to Armenia, the Artsakh Ministry of Health reported.
The patients were transported to specialized medical facilities in Armenia along with their attendants on Thursday, the ministry said in a statement.
28 children are undergoing treatment in the Arevik Medical Center. 5 of them are in neonatal and intensive care.
91 adult patients, including two critically ill, are in the Republican Medical Center.
The people of Artsakh have been living under Azerbaijan's unlawful blockade for around nine months now.
