Armenia to host sacred music festival
A festival of sacred music will be held in Armenia on 22-23 September.
The evet has been organized by the National Center of Chamber Music in collaboration with Armenia’s Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
The festival features two concerts in churches in the villages of Ptghni and Bjni, Kotayk Province, organizers said.
Armenia’s National Chamber Choir, National Chamber Orchestra and Hover State Chamber Choir will perform spiritual works by Komitas, Nerses the Gracious, Mansuryan, Mozart, Schubert, Fauré, Barber and others at the concerts.
Entrance is free.
