Armenian chess players among leaders at European Youth Championship
There are 3 rounds left in the European Youth Chess Championship 2023, the Armenian Chess Federation reports.
Here are the chess players from Armenia who are among the leaders in their sections after 6 rounds.
In the Open 18 section, FM Arsen Davtyan, who scored 5 points, is in the 2nd place. Among the leaders in this section are also IM Emin Ohanyan and CM Mikayel Rostomyan, who scored 4.5 points and are in the 5th and 6th places, respectively.
In the Open 16 section, Erik Gasparyan is in the 6th place with 4.5 points.
In the Open 14 section, the sole leader is FM Benik Agasarov, who scored 5.5 points. Among the leaders in this section is also Alberto Atoyan, who is in the 6th place with 4.5 points.
In the Open 12 section, Tyhran Ambartsumian, who scored 5 points, is in the 2nd place.
In the Girls 18 section, Astghik Hakobyan is in the 9th place with 4 points.
In the Girls 14 section, Sona Krkyasharyan is in the 9th place with 4 points.
