Armenian parliament pays tribute to victims of Sept. 13 Azeri attack
Armenian MPs on Wednesday observed a minute's silence in tribute to the victims of the 13 September 2022 Azerbaijani attack.
“One year ago, the Republic of Armenia came under attack, which left over 200 killed,” Speaker Alen Simonyan said at the plenary parliament session and asked the deputies to hold a minute's silence to commemorate them.
Azerbaijan launched a full-scale attack on Armenia early on 13 September, which continued until the late evening of 14 September. 224 people, including 3 civilians, were killed in Azerbaijani attacks. Three Armenian soldiers are still unaccounted for.
