Five Armenian gymnasts to compete in World Championships
Five athletes will represent Armenia at the 52nd FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships to be held in Antwerp, Belgium, from September 25 to October 9.
The Armenian team includes Artur Davtyan, Harutyun Merdinyan, Vahagn Davtyan, Artur Avetisyan and Gagik Khachikyan, the Gymnastics Federation of Armenia reported on Wednesday.
The Armenian gymnasts are holding a training camp in Tbilisi, Georgia, at this point.
The Gymnastics World Championships are a major qualifying event for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
