EU mission revises statement on Yeraskh plant
The European Union Mission in Armenia (EUMA) has revised its statement on the under-construction steel plant in Armenia’s border village of Yeraskh, deleting the part about its dismantling.
“EUMA has been regularly patrolling in the Yeraskh area, including the steel plant, to observe any security & military developments. By our presence, we have contributed to safer and more secure environment,” it said in a post on X on Thursday.
In the earlier version, the EU mission said by their presence they “contributed to the safe and secure transport of the material and the equipment to a new location.”
