Opening of Aghdam route poses 'existential threat' to Artsakh, Tatoyan Foundation warns
The Tatoyan Foundation, led by Armenia’s former ombudsman Arman Tatoyan, has identified the Azerbaijani armed locations from the Lachin corridor road to Stepanakert and from Stepanakert to Aghdam.
“On these maps, the places where the "eco-activist" agents of the Azerbaijani government who blocked the road were located from December 12, 2022 to April 23, 2022,” it said in a social media post on Thursday, sharing the maps.
The place of the vehicles of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society has also been identified.
“These maps and locations confirm once again that the Lachin Corridor is important for the preservation of the Artsakh Armenians' ethnic identity. The opening of the Aghdam road is an existential threat to the Armenians of Artsakh and is not an alternative to the Lachin Corridor," the Tatoyan Foundation stated.
