UEFA opens disciplinary case against Armenia after Croatia match
UEFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against Armenia’s Football Federation and head coach Oleksandr Petrakov following the Euro 2024 qualifier against Croatia on September 11.
The European football's governing body says the Armenian Football Federation has been charged with five offences, including for “blocking of public passageways, provocative message of a political nature and late kick-off.”
During the game which ended in 0-1, Armenian fans raised a flag of Artsakh over the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan using a drone. Also, a clash erupted between the Armenian and Croatian fans.
