8 Artsakh patients transferred to Armenia
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has facilitated the evacuation of 8 more severely ill patients from blockaded Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to Armenia, the Artsakh Ministry of Health reported.
The patients were transported to specialized medical facilities in Armenia along with their attendants on Saturday, the ministry said in a statement.
18 children are undergoing treatment in the Arevik Medical Center. 3 of them remain in neonatal and intensive care.
72 adult patients, including 4 critically ill, are hospitalized in the Republican Medical Center.
The people of Artsakh have been living under Azerbaijan's unlawful blockade for nine months now.
