UN Security Council to hold meeting on Nagorno-Karabakh on Sept. 21
The UN Security Council will hold a meeting on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) on Thursday, September 21, a UN source told RIA Novosti.
"The meeting is scheduled for Thursday afternoon," the source said.
Earlier, the sources said the meeting had been requested by France.
Azerbaijan launched a large-scale offensive against Artsakh on Tuesday afternoon, using artillery, rocket systems, combat UAVs and warplanes. The heavy fighting along the entire line of contact continued as of Tuesday evening.
Artsakh’s health officials said that 25 people, including two civilians, were killed and 128 others were wounded in Azerbaijani shelling.
