Azerbaijan seeks total depopulation of Artsakh: statement
The Country to Live party calls on the international community to take urgent measures to stop the genocide in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) amid a large-scale Azerbaijani offensive.
“Azerbaijani troops have been shelling almost the entire territory of Artsakh, including the capital Stepanakert for the past few hours,” the party said in a statement on Tuesday. “It is evident that Azerbaijan aims at the total depopulation of Artsakh, even at the expense of genocide.”
“We firmly stand by our compatriots of Artsakh and call on the Armenian Government to promptly recognize the independence of the Republic of Artsakh and provide military assistance to Artsakh.
“We demand that the international community, first of all, the Russian Federation, take immediate measures to stop the genocide being carried out against the people of Artsakh,” it added.
