Armenia remains Russia's 'close ally', Kremlin says
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has reacted to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's latest statement in which he said that Russian peacekeepers failed to properly ensure the security of Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Peskov stated that Russia "will never accept such criticism", but will continue its dialogue with Pashinyan, Kommersant reported on Monday.
"Armenia remains our ally, a state close to us. Armenians are a nation close to us, you know that more Armenians live in our country than in the whole of Armenia. We will continue to fulfill our functions, we will continue the dialog with the Armenian side, including with Pashinyan," he said.
