Artsakh fuel depot blast kills at least 20
A powerful explosion at a fuel depot in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) has killed at least 20 people and injured hundreds more, local authorities say.
The Artsakh Ministry of Health said in a statement on Tuesday that 290 people were admitted to hospitals, with dozens of them still in critical condition after the blast at the facility near Stepanakert on Monday evening.
The ministry said 13 unidentified bodies were found at the scene and seven more died in hospital.
Many people are still missing after the explosion, officials added.
The blast came amid a mass exodus of Armenians from Artsakh following last week's Azerbaijani military offensive.
