Poll respondent deplores 'absurd' decision to cancel rally in Yerevan
Panorama.am has conducted a poll among Yerevan residents following the opposition decision to cancel a rally initially schedule to be held in Yerevan’s Republic Square on Tuesday.
The rally was part of a civil disobedience campaign to force Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan from power.
One of the poll respondents deplored the move as “absurd”.
"People gather spontaneously, there were a lot of people. He has to leave [referring to Pashinyan],” the woman noted.
A man from Artsakh, on the other hand, spoke against the rallies, calling for national consolidation.
Another respondent said it was initially clear that the movement would quickly die away.
