Rep. Sherman: U.S. needs to arm Armenia
The United States should arm Armenia with proper defensive weapons to prevent an invasion, U.S. Congressman Brad Sherman insists.
“It makes little sense to say Ukraine shouldn’t lose territory to armed aggression, but Armenian territorial integrity is not a U.S. national interest," he said in a post on X on Sunday. "We should have armed Ukraine more before the 2014 invasion, as I urged a decade ago."
"We need to arm Armenia now with appropriate defensive weapons to deter invasion," Sherman added.
The congressman shared a report by The Guardian titled “’Azerbaijan is hungry for land’: Armenians fear country will seek to grab more territory”.
