Former, current Artsakh leaders remain in Stepanakert: Aravot
Artsakh’s former Presidents Arkady Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, Arayik Harutyunyan and current leader Samvel Shahramanyan are still in Stepanakert, Aravot.am reported on Monday, citing its sources.
The reports emerged on social media on Sunday suggested the three Artsakh ex-presidents had been safely moved to Yerevan as a result of negotiations.
“According to our information, Artsakh’s former presidents and most of the government members, including the heads of law enforcement agencies, remain in Artsakh,” Aravot said.
“It is expected that as a result of a series of meetings and discussions today, the fate of former Presidents Arkady Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan and Arayik Harutyunyan will be decided,” the report added.
