Situation on Armenia-Azerbaijan border 'relatively stable', deputy minister says
The situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border is “relatively stable” at this point, Deputy Defense Minister Arman Sargsyan told reporters on Tuesday.
Armenia’s Defense Ministry on Monday said one serviceman was killed and two others wounded when Azerbaijani forces opened fire on an Armenian military vehicle carrying provisions for the personnel of Armenian combat outposts near the village of Kut in Gegharkunik Province.
The Azerbaijani military also targeted an ambulance “in gross violation of international humanitarian law,” the ministry added.
