Almost 29,000 children displaced from Artsakh registered in Armenia
A total of 100,625 forcibly displaced people crossed into Armenia from Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) as of Wednesday noon, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's spokeswoman, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, said.
Registration has been completed for 95,711 (about 95%) of them, she told a press briefing.
About 29,000 of the registered people are children, including 7,996 under 5 years old and 21,266 aged between 6 and 19.
As many as 4,145 school-age children of about 21,000 already attend schools in different regions of Armenia, Baghdasaryan noted.
345 patients from Artsakh continue to receive treatment in medical facilities across Armenia. 102 of them remain in grave condition and 37 others are in critical condition. 9 children are in intensive care.
