Samvel Shahramanyan remains in Artsakh
Artsakh President Samvel Shahramanyan has not been captured and taken to Baku. He is still in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
Shahramanyan himself denied the rumors about his detention when contacted by a source of Aravot.am on Wednesday morning and stated that remained in Artsakh.
What fate awaits Samvel Shahramanyan is still unclear. It is also unclear when exactly the issue of his fate will be decided.
Earlier on Tuesday, Azerbaijani authorities arrested three former presidents of Nagorno-Karabakh, Arkady Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, Arayik Harutyunyan, and its current parliament speaker David Ishkhanyan.
Artsakh’s former State Minister Ruben Vardanyan, former Foreign Minister David Babayan, former army commander Levon Mnatsakanyan and his ex-deputy David Manukyan were arrested by Azerbaijani authorities last week.
