Almost 75% of displaced Artsakh people resettled in Armenia's regions
The number of forcibly displaced people who have crossed into Armenia from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) has remained unchanged in recent days. A total of 100,632 displaced people have entered Armenia in the wake of Azerbaijan’s violent seizure of Artsakh.
Registration has been completed for 99 percent of them, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s spokeswoman, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, told a press briefing on Friday.
Nearly 75 percent of displaced persons (75,472 people) have resettled in Armenia’s regions, mostly in Ararat and Kotayk Provinces, she said.
