Criminal case against Pashinyan critic goes to court
A criminal case against Armine Adibekyan, an expert on Azerbaijan, has been sent to a first instance court in Yerevan, her lawyer Ruben Melikyan said on Friday.
“The date of a court hearing will be unveiled soon,” he wrote on Facebook.
Adibekyan, who is critical of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his government, has been charged with making a “public call for violence”.
The case concerns her Facebook post more than a year ago, which says: "If Pashinyan does not resort to Hitler's last step, the fate of Goebbels awaits him.”
