Mkhitaryan 'happy' at Inter, agent says
Renowned football agent Rafaela Pimenta confirms that her client Henrikh Mkhitaryan is happy at Inter Milan, SempreInter.com reports.
The Armenian international joined the Nerazzurri in 2022 following a stint at AS Roma. The vastly experienced player had also represented the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United and Arsenal in the past.
But despite reaching the age of 34, he remains a key player in Simone Inzaghi’s tactical jigsaw. This season, he started the vast majority of the club’s matches.
He was also the ultimate star in the Derby della Madonnina demolition job. He contributed with two goals and an assist in the 5-1 win over AC Milan.
Therefore, agent Rafaela Pimenta insists that Mkhitaryan is happy at Inter and it shows in his brilliant displays on the pitch.
But although his current contract with the club expires at the end of the season, the Brazilian lawyer denies renewal talks with the Nerazzurri.
“We’re not discussing a renewal. Henrikh is doing what he has to do,” said Pimenta in her interview with Sportitalia.com via FcInterNews.
“As I’ve said in the past, I feel like he’s becoming stronger with age.
“Henrikh is an example of how a footballer’s lifestyle matters. His professionalism is helping him extend his career.
“You should ask him about the future. It seems so to me he’s happy at Inter. How about you?” said the agent jokingly.
“His performances say it all. When a player is happy, he plays better.
“When you feel connected to the club, you produce better displays. He feels perfect in Milan and it shows on the pitch.”
