Russia mulls new meeting with Armenian, Azeri FMs
Moscow is considering the possibility of fresh talks between the foreign ministers of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan in Bishkek on October 12, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said on Monday.
“The dialogue between Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan regarding the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict has never been interrupted,” he said in an interview with RBC.
“We hope that such contacts will continue. We are considering the possibility of holding such discussions at the level of foreign ministers on the sidelines of the CIS summit,” Galuzin noted.
He said Azerbaijan had already agreed to the meeting.
“We hope that the Armenian side will also take a responsible approach to the matter and will agree to participate in such talks,” Galuzin added.
