Opposition politician: Aliyev's got Pashinyan 'wrapped around his little finger'
Opposition politician Eduard Sharmazanov has reacted to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's latest statement that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has not yet publicly recognized Armenia’s territorial integrity of 29,800 square kilometers.
In a social media post on Wednesday, Sharmazanov, a senior member of the former ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), blasted Pashinyan for recognizing Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan earlier this year.
“The capitulant says that Azerbaijan has not made a public statement recognizing Armenia’s territory of 29,800 sq. km. to date,” he wrote.
“Then, why did you recognize Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan? It’s your fault Nikol, Aliyev’s got you wrapped around his little finger,” the politician added.
