Public Voice leader's wife released
The spouse of Public Voice Party Chairman Artak Galstyan has been set free, a party member has confirmed.
The woman is accused of complicity in drug trafficking and money laundering.
"Artak Galstyan's wife was released a few days ago, but I can't name a specific date,” Nana Sargsyan, a Yerevan City Council member, told the Hraparak daily on Thursday.
Galstyan’s wife has been banned from leaving the city, she said, without elaborating further.
Councilors from the Public Voice Party set up by U.S.-based blogger Vardan Ghukasyan (Dog) helped Civil Contract’s Tigran Avinyan become Yerevan mayor on Tuesday.
