Ex-official: Only 40 Artsakh citizens remain under Azerbaijani occupation
Only a maximum of 40 Artsakh citizens remain under Azerbaijani occupation, Artsakh’s former ombudsman and state minister, Artak Beglaryan, said on Friday.
“The people of Artsakh have faced genocide by the dictatorial Aliyev regime, with more than 99.96% forcibly displaced,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Currently, only a maximum of 40 Artsakh citizens remain under Azerbaijani occupation, and some of them are not ethnic Armenians but have Russian origins,” Beglaryan said.
