Rep. Pallone: Aliyev moving forward with his objective to take southern Armenia
Congressman Frank Pallone says he has urged the U.S. State Department to take concrete action against Azerbaijan, including sanctions, following its seizure of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in mid-September.
“Aliyev is moving forward with his objective to take Southern Armenia. There's no doubt that his regime is emboldened after facing little consequences for the invasion of Artsakh,” he wrote on X on Thursday.
“I’ve urged State Department to take concrete action against Azerbaijan, including sanctions,” Rep. Pallone said.
