Ex-ombudsman: Nothing can legitimize genocide of Artsakh's indigenous people
Nothing can legitimize the genocide of Artsakh’s indigenous people and the occupation of their ancient homeland, says Artak Beglaryan, Artsakh’s former ombudsman and state minister.
He reacted to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s latest visit to Stepanakert and other communities of Artsakh seized by Azeri forces in mid-September.
“Dictator & genocider Aliyev visited Stepanakert & other occupied communities of Artsakh today,” Beglaryan wrote on X on Sunday.
“Nothing can legitimize the genocide of the Artsakh indigenous people & the occupation of their ancient homeland. Aliyev & all the perpetrators of this international crime must face responsibility,” he stressed.
