Artsakh MP to sue reporter for defamation
Artsakh lawmaker Davit Galstyan has announced plans to file a defamation lawsuit against journalist Tatul Hakobyan.
In a social media post earlier on October 3, the reporter claimed Galstyan, the former head of the Shushi Avan Plaza Hotel, had been appointed Azerbaijan's representative (commandant) in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
According to latest reports, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has named Sardar Safarov as commandant of Stepanakert.
"A defamation suit will be filed against Tatul Hakobyan in the coming days," Davit Galstyan told 24News on Monday.
