Armenia not boycotting Russian-brokered talks 'yet', says pro-government MP
Armenia is not boycotting Russian-brokered talks for a peace deal with Azerbaijan “for now”, says MP Andranik Kocharyan of the ruling Civil Contract faction.
“Of course no… not yet,” he told reporters in the parliament on Monday when asked whether the ruling team is boycotting the Russian platform for talks.
His comments came in response to a remark that the Armenia authorities have accepted Iran’s and West’s mediation proposals, but have refused to attend Russia-hosted talks with Azerbaijan.
Kocharyan highlighted that Armenian MPs attended a CSTO meeting recently.
