Armenian parliament set to elect new Court of Cassation judges
The Armenian National Assembly is set to elect two new judges of Armenia’s Court of Cassation at a sitting on Tuesday.
The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) has nominated David Khachaturyan, Anahit Hakobyan and Samvel Shahverdyan for a judge of the court’s Criminal Chamber, Speaker Alen Simonyan announced.
Karen Tumanyan, Gurgen Malkhasyan and Naira Hovsepyan have been nominated to become a judge of the Cassation Court Civil Chamber.
SJC Charman Karen Andreasyan began to introduce the candidates to lawmakers.
