Serzh Sargsyan gave instructions to RPA members at Executive Body meeting
Serzh Sargsyan, Armenia’s third president and chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), on Tuesday chaired a regular meeting of the RPA Executive Body.
The meeting addressed the social and political situation in the country in the wake of the surrender of Artsakh by the Armenian leadership and the genocidal actions of Azerbaijan. The regional and geopolitical developments were also discussed, the RPA press office reported.
“The activities were analyzed, shortcomings and omissions were revealed, in connection with which clear instructions were given,” it said in a statement.
“President Sargsyan also issued instructions regarding the organization and implementation of intra-party works," the office added.
Alos, they discussed the efforts to keep the the international spotlight on the issue of political prisoners in Armenia and Armenian captives held in Baku.
