Former MP blasts Armenian authorities for Artsakh policy
Former MP Sofia Hovsepyan accused the Armenian leadership of efforts to make displaced people from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) leave Armenia.
Speaking at a debate on Tuesday, she said a “bunch of people has seized power in Armenia and is destroying everything.”
"After 2018, this group realized perfectly well that the Artsakh people posed a threat to them. The key task was to incite hatred towards the Artsakh people. They really hate the Artsakh Armenians. They are afraid because the Artsakh people are strong-willed. They are doing everything so that thse people leave Armenia. And the Artsakh people have started to leave the country, whereas Armenia needs them," Hovsepyan claimed.
She said the current authorities "follow Ataturk's policy towards Armenians".
