Russia maintains contact with Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kremlin says
Moscow remains in contact with Baku and Yerevan, TASS cited Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as telling reporters on Wednesday.
When asked if there was any progress on Moscow’s offer to host activities aimed at developing a peace plan, he said: "Not yet. There is no clear understanding. We remain in contact."
Toivo Klaar, EU's Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, said earlier the talks between the Armenian and Azeri leaders scheduled for late October in Brussels had been cancelled, citing lack of time.
